Saridon: The Headache-Relieving Good News

Headache is one of the most common ailments that befall the average person today. This is especially true for workers whose jobs entail activities that will likely bring about stress. When headache occurs, it prevents people from being as productive as they normally are. What some individuals do is to turn to the tried-and-tested solution to this everyday problem: popping a paracetamol.  Indeed, this medicine has been the “quick fix” for ailments such as headaches, fevers, and other minor body pains. While this medicine is effective, it doesn’t work fast enough. Fortunately, a new medicine named Saridon has found a way around this problem.

The chemical composition of Paracetamol effectively gets rid of pain. However, these same chemical elements prevent it from acting fast. The end result, you’ll get rid of pain but it’ll take some time before you do. To provide fast pain relief, a Saridon tablet contains not only Paracetamol but also Caffeine and Propyphenazone. Caffeine is a common ingredient in most no-drowse tablets. It suppresses the sleep-inducing effects of a medication to maintain a person’s alertness throughout the day.

More interesting than having caffeine as one of its ingredients, however, is the combination of Paracetamol and Propyhenazone. The presence of propyphenazone gives this new medicine a significant advantage over other popular pain relievers such as Paracetamol alone, Ibuprofen or Aspirin. This is because Propyphenazone is the one responsible for the fast onset that Paracetamol lacks. Thus, Saridon users experience pain relief as quickly as fifteen minutes from the time the tablet is ingested.

Bayer Healthcare came up with the formula for Saridon after conducting a market research, whereby different individuals gave their views on what constitutes the characteristics of the best pain medicine. Most of the answers were based on the participants’ lifestyles, the type of jobs they had, and their daily activities. Among all the characteristics given by the participants, two factors stood out: effective pain relief and fast pain relief.

More than just a one-time pain reliever, Bayer Healthcare has specifically formulated this drug to target persistent headaches. It has also been shown to be very effective in managing other types of insistent pain that often go on for days. In a 1996 Boitel study, Saridon was given to patients who suffered from dental aches. The prescription was to take the tablet as needed for seven days. The study showed that most patients did not have to continue taking the medication after the fourth day. Because of this study and others that followed, it is no wonder millions of Saridon tablets are sold worldwide every year.
