What is the Swine Flu ?

Swine influenza is a viral infection common in pigs, caused by the influenza virus type A. The mortality rate is low and recovery usually occurs within 7 to 10 days. The swine flu can occasionally infect humans through contact or close proximity with pigs, but it does not usually serious illness. Generally, there is no transmission from human to human, unlike the new influenza virus type A H1N1.
