Drugs are consumed in their natural effects but their use still presents risks and dangers. These effects, risks and hazards vary depending on the products used, but also by the use made of it, depending on the sensitivity, physical and psychological consumer and circumstances of consumption.
The reasons why each may have to take drugs are different for each individual, his history, his health, his family background:
- You can drink a drink to relax, enjoy moments of conviviality with friends for the pleasure of tasting a fine wine, to feel better or overcome a painful moment.
- Smoking tobacco or cannabis to be like everyone else, to relax or stimulate, for a moment of pleasure shared with others, or more frequently because they can not stop.
- Cocaine or amphetamines to overcome fatigue and “shine in society” or be “successful” in his workplace.
- Substance abuse, cannabis or heroin, for example, to alleviate discomfort, seek forgetfulness of pain or a reality experienced as unbearable or forget depression.
