The use of cannabis usually causes a mild euphoria, the person will spontaneously like laughing, feel very relaxed and slightly sleepy. In stronger doses cannabis users have a difficult task to complete and get the sense of time and the visual and short memory disturbance. There is immediate danger when driving, or operating certain machinery. Depending on the individual and the dose cannabis may also trigger physical symptoms such as palpitations (rapid pulse), dry mouth (decreased saliva production), red eyes (by the swelling of blood vessels) and nausea.

Cannabis mixed with tobacco can cause breathing problems.

In the long term use of cannabis the following adverse effects:

  • Concentration disorders, learning disabilities.
  • Psychological addiction and obsessive committed to obtaining the product.
  • Social risks through the contacts with illegal circuits for purchase of the product.

Some people may finally cannabis hallucinations or changes in perception cause (split personality, paranoia). These phenomena could provoke strong anxiety and psychological problems.
