Indeed, American research shows that just may be good for the development of the brain of the unborn child. Reported that the British magazine New Scientist.

Scientists at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore studied 112 pregnant women three times during the last three months of their pregnancy. They asked the women whether they felt stressed and spent the movements of the fetuses identified. Two weeks after giving birth all babies were examined again.

Their findings showed that babies of women who were exposed to mild to moderate stress, were more mobile in the womb. After birth, they also showed that average well-developed brains had. Moreover, the active fetal birth a better control over their limbs than babies of stressed mothers less. Scientists believe the cause may be found in the stress hormone cortisol play a role. That plays a big role in developing brains.
